Hello church family,

Over the next few months we will be providing updates through this page on our transition from 1551 E. Napolean Street to the location that God has for us next.

God’s desire is that all of His children enter into His Promises, His Provision & His Rest! The Promise Land in scripture is a picture of just that! We are believing at our future location we will find all of those things, mentally, spiritually & physically!

We recently talked about God’s hand being on people in various situations. As we walk through this time of transition we can hold onto the comfort of knowing God is with us. In Joshua 1:13 ESV “Remember the word that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, 'The Lord your God is providing you a place of rest and will give you this land.'” God is so good and we look forward to all of us walking together in this Journey.

The Gathering Transition Team

Letter of intent

By faith we will keep walking to the land of His promise knowing that He goes before us as a consuming fire making a way where there seems to be no way.

frequently asked questions

Q: Are we still having Sunday services?

A: Yes, The Gathering is not going away and will continue to have services.

Q: After you move out of 1551 E. Napoleon Street where will you be having services?

A: A specific location has not been determined yet. Several options are on the table and being discussed at this time.

Q:When will the transition to a new location take place?

A:The last service at 1551 E. Napoleon St. is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 6th. But, again, this will not be the final service for The Gathering. We will continue to meet after this date at a new location.

Q:What can church members do to help during the transition?

A:Stay active. There will be opportunities made available for you to come to the church to help clean out the building. Continue serving. There are a couple of events being planned for us to continue serving our community. Pray, pray, pray. Pray specifically that we are on the agenda for the tribe’s next council meeting in July.
